Who can schedule appointments?
Appointments are scheduled by veterinary clinics for their patients. At this time Dr. Bonadio does not offer house-call services for individual pet owners. If you are a pet owner interested in an abdominal ultrasound, please contact your primary veterinarian to set up an appointment!
How does my clinic schedule an appointment?
Click on the schedule an appointment tab. There are instructions at the top of the page that will walk you through scheduling an appointment. If you’re not sure what zone your clinic falls within, please email us at contact@pacificpawsmvc.com.
What paperwork needs to be done?
After your appointment has been scheduled, there is a link at the bottom of the page to the referral form. You can also access the referral form through the Forms tab in the main menu. This form will allow you to input all pertinent patient information before the scheduled appointment time.
There is also a consent form that needs to be signed by each pet owner. There are two versions, an electronic version and a downloadable version. Both can be found in the Forms tab.
What time will Dr. Bonadio arrive?
Dr. Bonadio will arrive at your clinic at the scheduled appointment time, but may be up to 15 minutes early or late. If she is going to be more than 15 minutes early or late, she will contact your clinic to give you a heads up.
What does my clinic need to do to prepare?
Once an appointment has been scheduled, please also complete a referral form. The last step is to have the pet owner complete and sign a consent form.
When Dr. Bonadio arrives, an exam room can be used to facilitate ultrasound examinations; a wet table or the OR can be used for endoscopies.
How many patients can be seen in a single appointment slot?
Because the appointment that you make with Dr. Bonadio is for the hospital, multiple patients can be seen in the same slot. You can schedule up to four patients to be seen in a single appointment slot. This can be a combination of ultrasound and/or endoscopy procedures. Please contact Dr. Bonadio if you have multiple patients you would like seen on the same day.
When will I receive Dr. Bonadio’s report?
Reports are completed and emailed to the clinic within 24 hours of the appointment time. In many cases, a report will be sent before the end of business day.
How will we be billed?
Once your appointment is complete, you will receive an invoice from Pacific Paws via email. Your invoice will contain a link to pay online via ACH, or you may mail a check to the address provided.
Who submits lab samples?
Pacific Paws will never charge for ancillary services like bloodwork, anesthesia, medications or radiographs. Our competitive pricing does include submission of relevant diagnostics associated with procedures performed (cytology, cultures, histopathology).
